So back in the 70s (I am assuming by the clothing) the union AFSCME, the American Federation of State, County, and Municipal Employees, made a TV commercial about all the good they do for us and therefore should get better treatment.

Then the voice actor for the commercial got tired and bored and dubbed over this lovely number. Which luckily someone at AFSCME found in their archives and posted on You Tube!

In case you missed it SNL’s opening skit was brillant last night. It was perfect commentary on the free ride Obama has ridden his entire political career. It was a helpful reminder that the presses’ ability to coronate politicians with the ever sought after title of “momentum” has made them the 4th branch of government.
