Jinan University: The Cornell of the East

If you’ve ever been to Chinatown, you know that the Chinese are the masters of cheap knock-offs–once, a friend and I bet how many shady bag vendors would whisper “Rooey Vitton” in our ear over 5 blocks of Canal St… the number was above 50.

Jinan University, a 20,000-student Guangzhou school, has taken this proud Chinese tradition to new heights with their Web site, which looks strikingly similar to the Big Red Multicultural Utopia that we all know and love.

right… i pity that you couldn’t think of real reasons why the websites might look alike. bravo to you for dissing a university you know nothing about and for treating all chinese like they’re the same: all peddlers, scammers, and copycats. why don’t you do some research before you sink other people in your shit?
