Melt Banana graced The Haunt with its magical sound diarrhea, the kind you don’t want to wipe from your face. October 23, 2011.
Consisting of vocalist Yako and guitarist Agata, Melt Banana is a noise punk band from Japan. Yako’s chirpy vocals put a unique spin on their music. The drums and bass were crisp against the obtuse guitar sounds, as if the strings were rusty and all music was in a state of youthful decay.
Summoning the toughest of moshers, Melt Banana kept the crowd at a level of intense energy throughout the night. Check out Melt Banana below and on their website.
